My Friend Asked me to write a guide on “Installing Windows 7 without using DVD or USB Drive“. I hope this article can help my friend and many users to install Windows 7 on their Notebooks and Personal Computers(PCs). Many users dosn’t know How to install Windows 7 using USB Drive and many don’t know how to install Windows 7 using DVD (CD-ROM)Drive.

Here are the two ways to install Windows 7 or Vista without using any DVD or USB. We can do it by using VPN(virtual PC) and the other one is mounting an ISO file using free tools like Virtual Clone Drive and Deamon tools. There are more Tools for ISO mounting and these i preffer most and trust.

Here is the Method – How to Install Windows 7 without using a DVD or USB Drive – On a clean Partition like the normal DVD boot method, we install Windows 7. But, we don’t use a DVD Drive in this Method. Here are the simple steps and instructions and don’t even miss any steps to make things quickly, we can loose our drives too.

1. Just Download Windows 7 ISO files from the Microsoft.
2. After that, Download and install Virtual Clone Drive, if downloaded and installed no problem, if not download and install from here .
3. To Mount your ISO File, go to the Directory where you have saved Windows 7 ISO File. After that right-click on the ISO File, select Open with and then select ‘Mount files with Virtual Clone Drive’.
4. After Mounting, Go back to My computer and double-click on the Virtual Clone Drive icon to start Windows 7 installation process.(note: in my computer there will be another DVD drive like Virtual Clone Drive). You will now install Windows 7 without using a DVD or USB Drive.
5. Follow the normal Windows 7 installation Process, you already know to finish the installation. Windows may restart many times during Installation. Thats it.
